A Little Bit Of Humor To Start The New Year

Jerry Goodman was a roommate and friend of Paul Krugman.  He was also very funny.  To honor his memory Paul Krugman posted this copy of a funny speech that he delivered at MIT upon accepting an imaginary Adam Smith award.  It pokes fun at the efforts of economists to shape the profession in accordance with their view of how physics is conducted.  Enjoy.
