Growing Inequality In Germany

This is a lengthy article that goes into detail about growing inequality in Germany.  Ironically, many in the US and the UK, are looking to Germany for solutions to growing inequality in their countries.  Germany does have stronger unions that represent the interests of many in the labor force, but some of the trends that we find in the US are also found in Germany.  The compensation of CEO's in Germany is following the pattern set by CEO's in the US.  Their compensation has been growing rapidly.  On the other hand, corporations are seeking more flexibility, and lower wage costs, by using more temporary workers and contract employees who get lower wages and fewer benefits.  They also have less job security.
