The chart on
this pagee (via Manan Shukla) describes the Dodd-Frank bill that was designed to prevent further financial crises like the the last one. It does a good job of showing the intent of each section of the bill and the groups that are affected. One of the problems with the bill is that the details of each piece of the bill was left up to the appropriate federal agencies to define. That has not been completed and the lobbying has been intense.
