The CDP did a study of the efforts by 250 of the largest corporations in the world on their efforts to better manage scarce natural resources and contain carbon emissions. Price Waterhouse Coopers (PWC) was an advisor to the project and wrote the
report on their findings. The problem has attracted the attention of many corporations. Unfortunately, most are driven by short term financial goals. The emission containment targets are well below what is needed to arrest the progress of climate change.
