Mitt Romney is the front runner for the GOP nomination for the presidency. The Iowa caucus ended with Romney basically tied with Rick Santorum and Ron Paul but polls show that he has the best chance of winning in the general election among the remaining contenders for the GOP nomination. This result says more about GOP base in Iowa than about anything else. Two thirds of the base identify with the Tea Party. On the other hand, it tells us something about the need to pander to the base and to tell lies in order to win their allegiance. This article is about one of the lies that Romney has been using on the campaign trail. He claims that Obama has lost 2 million jobs and that he will be a job creator.
