Is The Chicago School of Economics A Cult?

It is common in the social sciences for researchers to aggregate in "schools of thought". That is probably a good idea in a field with a wide array of very complex problems to study. In this article Krugman asks whether the Chicago school has become a cult. It has some of the characteristics of a cult that he describes.
