Confusion About How Good 2011 Was For US Economy

I had dinner the other night with a friend that told me he was confused because he is hearing lots of comments on the economy that are positive, yet unemployment remains high. One of the reasons that he is confused, besides watching CNBC talking heads every day, is that some economists are saying that 2011 has been a good year.
