McCain Uses Apple as Example of Innovator Creating Jobs

The only interesting question raised in this article is why John McCain gets invited to appear on the Sunday AM News shows every few months. The Apple products that he cited are made in China, as almost everyone but McCain knows. Perhaps McCain actually knows that the iPad, iTouch etc. are made in China. He wanted to make the point that innovation is important but he could not think of another innovative set of products that we are manufacturing in the US for export. McCain does not let facts stand in the way of a point that he wants to make. He must assume that his audience prefers slogans to facts.
