Carbon Capture And Storage Is Too Costly

The supply of coal is ample and relatively cheap.  It generates most of the electricity in the world.  It is also a dirty fuel that makes an inordinate contribution to the degradation of the environment.  Carbon capture and storage is being tested as a way to limit the environmental impact of coal.  This article reviews the efforts to exploit CCS technology. A cost effective, and environmentally friendly technology is still on the horizon.
