A Group Of German Economists Lead Effort To Oppose Banking Union

Germany's Chancellor has her hands full.  She is being pressured by other leaders in the eurozone to support integration measures that might be needed to preserve the euro, and she faces political opposition at home from economists who believe it would be better if troubled eurozone banks were allowed to fail.  They argue that the banking union is good for Wall Street and The City of London, and bad for Germany.
