Graduates From For-Profit Colleges Do Not Get Paid For The Degree

A study at Boston University shows that graduating from a for-profit college does not lead to a 15% wage premium that is collected by graduates from non-profit colleges.  The study corrected for the differences in socioeconomic status between graduates from both kinds of colleges.  Apparently, employers have discounted the value of a degree from for-profit colleges.  Their advertising campaigns are focused on preparing graduates for careers in higher paying occupations.  What happened to truth in advertising laws?
